Bethany Lutheran College post player Hanna Geistfeld was selected as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference’s women’s basketball player of the week. Geistfeld, a former Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther student athlete, matched her career-high by pouring in 31 points during the Vikings’ victory over Saint Benedict. The Truman native connected on 11 of 18 field goals to complement grabbing seven boards.
