The parade lineup is 8 AM Saturday morning at Heritage Acres. Parade starts at 9AM. It will go down 4th Street, North North and down Winnebago Ave to the Memorial site. Parade entries will park at the old KMart lot. Dedication starts around 10 AM and will last about an hour or so. After the dedication, activities will take place at the Martin County Fairgrounds. There will be over 25 displays at the arena, food wagons, beer garden, and entertainment. There may be a Huey Helicopter here for parade and will be displayed at the fairgrounds.

At all times social distancing must be observed and masks are highly encouraged. There will be an area marked off directly around the helicopter which will be a VIP area only. The public is asked to come down the west sidewalk by the ball diamonds, around the concession stand and watch Dedication from the area north of the east west sidewalk. Again, it can’t be stressed enough that social distancing must be observed. There is still a need of volunteers to help with set up, parking and crowd control. If you want to help, come between 6:30 AM and 7 AM this Saturday morning to the parking lot in front of the helicopter and by the stage.

Just for clarification, the VIP area needs to be controlled for a certain amount of people. These people will be pilots and gunners who flew with this helicopter and its unit, people who helped rebuild the cobra, city band, and invited speakers and guests. To all our supporters, thanks for helping us get this done. When the memorial is completed, we will have a dedication for the whole project and hopefully nothing like the coronavirus will mess it up.
