A VETERANS DAY PROGRAM WAS HELD AT FAIRMONT HIGH SCHOOL ON MONDAY.

GUEST SPEAKER WAS CHASE CRAWFORD OF SHERBURN, WHO WAS A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL GUARD 34TH INFANTRY BRIGADE AND DESCRIBED HIS TIME IN IRAQ FROM 2005-2007. HE TALKED ABOUT HIS GRANDFATHER TRUMAN KITTLESON – WHO SERVED IN WORLD WAR II IN NORTH AFRICA, ALSO WITH THE 34TH INFANTRY, WHO WAS A PRISONER OF WAR FOR 26 MONTHS.

THE FAIRMONT JR-SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ORCHESTRA AND GIRLS CHOIR PROVIDED MUSIC AND THE HONOR GUARD POSTED AND RETIRED THE COLORS AT THE PROGRAM.
