A TRUMAN MAN WAS INJURED IN A TWO VEHICLE CRASH IN TRUMAN TUESDAY AFTERNOON. ACCORDING TO THE MINNESOTA STATE PATROL REPORT A CAR DRIVEN BY 54 YEAR OLD DANIEL ESPELAND OF TRUMAN WAS NORTHBOUND ON HIGHWAY 15 JUST AFTER 1:30 PM WHEN HIS VEHICLE WAS STRUCK BY A CAR DRIVEN BY A 17 YEAR OLD FEMALE HEADED WESTBOUND ON COUNTY ROAD 52/5TH ST. NORTH IN TRUMAN WHO HAD STOPPED AT THE INTERSECTON THEN PULLED OUT AND WAS STRUCK BY THE OTHER VEHICLE. DANIEL ESPELAND WAS TRANSPORTED TO MAYO CLINIC HEALTH SYSTEM -FAIRMONT BY TRUMAN AMBULANCE FOR TREATMENT OF WHAT WS DESCRIBED IN THE REPORT AS A NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURY. THE JUVENILE FEMALE DRIVER SUFFERED NO APPARENT INJURY ACCORDING TO THE REPORT.
