An early morning incident Monday on I-90 near Blue Earth sent a Trimont woman to the hospital.
Just after 6 a.m., a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Kristin Marie Clifford, 50, of Trimont, was driving eastbound on I-90 when it was struck by a deer. The accident, which occurred near the Highway 169 exit, caused Clifford to be transported to UHD Blue Earth with non-life threatening injuries.
Blue Earth Fire, Police, and Ambulance responded to the incident. Clifford was wearing her seat belt and road conditions were dry according to the State Patrol.
