Nine students were injured when a school bus crashed into a truck in Redwood County Wednesday morning.
The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 7 and 280th Street involving a bus for the Wabasso School District.
The students were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities say the bus driver, Edward Aslesen, 72, of Milroy, failed to yield before crashing into a Ford F550, driven by Brandon Tusler, 23, of Welcome.
The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol, The Wabasso Fire Department and Ambulance Service, CentraCare EMS and North Memorial Ambulance.
