FAIRMONT — The Martin County Jail has been recognized as one of just 20 employers in Minnesota to receive an Above and Beyond Award from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. The award recognizes employers who provide support to National Guard and Reserve members beyond what is legally required. The 17-member staff currently includes two full-time correctional deputies serving in the Guard or Reserves. The jail was then selected from more than 230 eligible Minnesota employers.
