THE MARTIN COUNTY BOARD TUESDAY:

Set a Special Board meeting date and time to establish an internal committee to plan, implement and disburse legislative grant funds to local businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Special Board meeting is set at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12.

Approved the appointment of Brayden Grefe and Molly Roben to serve on the 4H/Extension Committee for a three year term

Approved adoption and implemention of the Watonwan River Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan.

Approved State Transportation Bond Funds for the replacement, rehabilitation, or removal of certain County and Township bridges.

Approved the hire of Robert Kramer as Planning and Zoning Technician for the Planning and Zoning Office.

Approved the County’s revised Covid Emergency Sick Leave Policy to be reviewed and renewed every thirty days by the Board.

Approved Pocket Gopher Bounty at $1.

Approved accepting donations received in 2020 for the Martin County Veterans Service Office in the amount of $1,470.00.

Approved and accepted the retirement/resignation of Teresa Tieman, Payroll/HR for the Martin County Coordinator’s Office, effective January 15. Teresa served the county for 40 years and worked for 25 county commissioners.
