A FAIRMONT TEENAGER AND A MAN FROM TENNESSEE WERE INJURED IN A THREE VEHICLE CRASH ON THE EAST BOUND I-90 EXIT RAMP AT SHERBURN JUST BEFORE 8:30 MONDAY NIGHT. A VEHICLE DRIVEN BY 81 YEAR OLD ROGER DUANE RICH OF GOODSPRING, TENNESSEE WAS APPARENTLY GOING THE WRONG WAY DOWN THE RAMP WHEN HIS VEHICLE COLLIED WITH A SEMI WHICH WAS ON THE RAMP DRIVEN BY 60 YEAR OLD DONALD JAMES ASMUS OF BLUE EARTH. A CAR DRIVEN BY 17 YEAR OLD KARI FAITH MAIER OF FAIRMONT ALSO EAST BOUND ON THE RAMP THEN STRUCK THE FIRST VEHICLE THAT WAS EVENTUALLY PARKED ON THE BRIDGE. KARI MAIER AND ROGER RICH WERE TRANSPORTED TO TO MAYO CLINIC HEALTH SYSTEM-FAIRMONT FOR TREATMENT OF UNDISCLOSED BUT DESCRIBED AS NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES ACCORDING TO THE STATE PATROL REPORT. DON ASMUS SUFFERED NO APPARENT INJURY. SHERBURN -WELCOME POLICE, SHERBURN FIRE ,AMBULANCE AND THE MARTIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ASSISTED AT THE SCENE.
