WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 394 CONFIRMED CASES. 11 ACTIVE. 380 CASES OUT OF ISOLATION. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 1. COVID RELATED DEATHS 3.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Thursday, 698 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is 67,308.

There have been 7 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the death total of 1,745.  Deaths among cases that resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,298.

As of 11am on Thursday, there were 309 people hospitalized, with 148 in intensive care.

A total of 60,605 people no longer require isolation.

The Iowa Department of Public Health’s website shows nine more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 333 new cases of the virus have been diagnosed.

The Health Department says the numbers on the site are now corrects after a glitch in the reporting system was discovered and corrected.

The number of new positive cases is up to 53,830.

The data shows there have been 1,012 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 542 were residents of long term care facilities.  There are currently outbreaks at 33 long term care facilities in Iowa.

There are 300 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, 89 of those patients are in intensive care with 31 of the on ventilators.
