The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Tuesday 332 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. The total number of cases in Minnesota is 61,839.
There have been 6 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the death total at 1,666. Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,251.
As of 11am on Tuesday, there were 337 people hospitalized, with 147 in Intensive Care.
A total of 55,151 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.
Four more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and another 182 Iowans have tested positive for the virus according to the Iowa Department of Public Health’s coronavirus tracking website.
A total of 49,182 Iowans have now tested positive for the virus.
The 4 additional deaths push the statewide death total to 935. Of those deaths, 500 individuals were residents of long term care facilities. There are currently 25 outbreaks at Iowa long term care facilities, affecting 808 Iowans.
There are currently 244 individuals hospitalized, 64 patients listed in ICU’s, with 25 of them on ventilators.
