The Minnesota Department of Health reported nine new deaths related to the Coronavirus.
The State’s death total is now 79. The State reported 45 new cases bringing the total to 1,695.
The total number of cases requiring hospitalization is 405 and 75 people were hospitalized in ICU’s across the state. A total of 909 patients no longer needed isolation.
The number of confirmed cases in Faribault County held steady at 4.
The number of confirmed cases in Martin County is up to 39.
The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting 6 new deaths from the Coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 49.
The Health Department also reported 189 new cases, bringing the total to 1,899 positive cases. Nearly 90 of those positive cases are related to a Tyson Foods plant in Columbus Junction.
Three new outbreaks have been reported at senior care facilities, 2 in Polk County and 1 in Bremer County.
Kossuth County has 1 confirmed case of the virus and Winnebago County has 2 confirmed cases. Floyd County still has not reported a case of the virus, Linn County had the most cases in the state, followed by Johnson County.
790 people have recovered from the virus.
