Community Health and Human Service of Martin and Faribault County reported one new confirmed case of the coronavirus on Thursday.

The new case in Faribault County is a 61 year old who is isolated and recovering at home.  The total number of confirmed cases in Faribault County is 73, with ten active cases.

No new cases were reported in Martin County.  They have a total of 190 confirmed cases, with 13 active cases.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 283 confirmed cases. Active 11. Currently known hospitalized 2.

 

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Thursday 763 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in the state is 48,721.

There have been nine additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the death total at 1,561.  Deaths among cases that resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,198.

There are 42,524 people who no longer require to be isolated.

As of 11am on Thursday, there were 282 people hospitalized, with 107 in intensive care.

 

The newest number from the Iowa Department of Public Health’s website show 7 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and another 716 people have tested positive for the virus.  The total number of positive tests in the state is 40,509.

The data shows there have been 815 total deaths form the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 437 were residents of long term care facilities.

There are 232 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state; 72 of those patients are in intensive care with 32 on ventilators.

Of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19, 28,863 have recovered.
