The Minnesota Department of Health reports 4 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19. The deaths reported on Wednesday raised the state’s total to 1,445, with 1,135 deaths occurring in long term care or assisted living facilities.
The Health Department also reported 426 new confirmed cases, increases Minnesota’s total to 36,718.
As of Wednesday, 260 patients were hospitalized, with 125 in ICU’s across the state and a total of 31,947 patients were recovering and no longer needed isolation.
Community Health and Human Services of Martin and Faribault County reported 5 new coronavirus cases in Martin County on Wednesday for a total now of 161 confirmed cases.
All 5 are recovering at home. They Range in age from 26-40 years old.
There are currently 13 active cases in Martin County.
No new cases were reported on Wednesday in Faribault County. The number of confirmed cases remains at 53 with 20 active.
Watonwan County now has 206 confirmed cases. 49 active. 5 hospitalized.
The Iowa Department of Health Reported 4 new deaths from the coronavirus, that brings the state’s total to 717.
The Health Department reported that 346 new cases were reported on Wednesday. The state’s total number of cases is 29,290.
A total of 308,658 people have been tested and 23,447 patients are recovering and no longer required isolation.
A total of 149 patients were hospitalized, with 37 in ICU’s across the state.
