The State of Minnesota reported 11 new deaths from the Coronavirus on Thursday, giving the state a total of 50. There were 88 new cases reported, bringing the total to 1,242.
There were 293 cases requiring hospitalization and 63 people in ICU’s across the state. The number of people who no longer need to be isolated increased to 675.
Martin County’s total was 35 cases,26 recovered (74%)) with 4 deaths blamed on the virus.(11%). All in their 80”s. Martin / Faribault counties age span : 13-95 years,median age : 60 years, 7 cases with recent out of state travel (18%), 10 cases hospitalized (26%)
In Faribault County , the number of confirmed cases increased to 4. One recovered (25%). No deaths.
Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said on Thursday that there were 125 new cases of coronavirus, bringing Iowa’s total number of cases to 1,270. Two new deaths were also reported, bringing the total to 29.
Only one confirmed case has been reported in Winnebago and Kossuth Counties. 29 of Iowa’s 99 counties have not reported a case of the virus.
A total of 115 people were hospitalized statewide on Wednesday and 476 people had recovered.
Linn County had the most cases in the state with a total of 171.
