The Minnesota Department of Heath, 23 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19.  The deaths reported on Tuesday raised the state’s total to 614, 501 of the deaths were individuals that resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities.

The Health Department also reported 695 new confirmed cases, increasing Minnesota’s total to 12,494.

As of Tuesday, 496 patients were hospitalized, with 199 of the in intensive care and 8,223 patients have recovered and no longer need isolation.

A total of 112 cases have been reported in Martin County and in Faribault County, the total was 8.

The Iowa Department of Health reported 18 new deaths from the Coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 289 and 539 new cases were reported on Tuesday, brining the state’s total to 12,912.

A total of 81,288 people have been tested and 5,618 patients have recovered and no longer require isolation.

No new cases were reported in Kossuth or Winnebago Counties.
