The Minnesota Department of Health reports 13 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19, raising the state’s total to 591; 472 of the deaths were individuals who resided in long term or assisted living facilities.
The Health Department also reported 528 new confirmed cases that increases Minnesota’s total to 11,799.
As of Monday, 452 patients were hospitalized, with 194 of them in intensive care and 7,536 patients have recovered and no longer need isolation.
A total of 112 cases have been reported in Martin County, in Faribault County the total is 10.
The Iowa Department of Health reported 6 new deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 271 and 414 new cases were reported on Monday, bringing the state’s total to 12,373.
Two new cases were reported in Winnebago County, bringing the total there to 5 and no new cases were reported in Kossuth County.
A total of 77,792 people have been tested and 5,249 patients have recovered and no longer require isolation.
