Nine more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19, the death reported on Monday raised the state’s total to 428.
The Department of Health also reported 571 new confirmed cases, increasing Minnesota’s total to 7,234.
As of Monday, 396 patients were hospitalized, with 166 of them in intensive care and 4,212 patients have recovered and no longer need isolation.
A total of 108 cases have been reported in Martin County and in Faribault County, the total is up to 7 confirmed cases.
The Iowa Department of Health reported 4 new deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 188.
The Heath Department also reported 534 new cases, brining the state’s total to 9,703.
A total of 57,161 people have been tested and 3,486 patients have recovered and no longer required isolation.
No new cases were reported in Kossuth County, while one new case was reported in Winnebago County.
