WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 11 NEW CASES. TOTAL CONFIRMED 1,035. ACTIVE 10. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 10. TOTAL HOSPITALIZATIONS 51. CASES OUT OF ISOLATION 1,013. COVID RELATED DEATHS 7.

Minnesota health officials reported on Monday 3,148 new cases of the coronavirus and 13 more deaths.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 5,443 people have died because of the virus, with a total of 3,506 of those deaths occurring in long term care facilities.

A total of 423, 688 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began in March.  Of those, 405,556 people no longer need to self isolated.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 46 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 601 new cases have been reported.The number of new positive tests brings the total number of positive tests to 284,866.

The data shows there have been 3,992 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 1,139 were residents of long term care facilities.  There are currently outbreaks at 105 long term care facilities in Iowa.

As of Monday morning, there are 571 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, down 6 from the previous day.  Of the hospitalized patients, 117 are in intensive care and 55 are on ventilators.
