Minnesota health officials reported 2,019 new cases of the coronavirus and 66 more deaths.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 5,262 people have died because of the virus.  A total of 3,394 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.

A total of 413,107 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began.  Of those, 395,679 people no longer need to self isolate.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 10 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 1,652 new cases have been reported.

The number of new positive COVID-19 tests brings the total number of positive tests to 278,600.

The data shows there have been 3,822 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 1,138 were residents of long term care facilities.

As of Wednesday morning, there are 612 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, down 8 from the previous day.
