The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 24 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19, the deaths reported Thursday raise the state’s total to 343.

The Health Department also reported 492 new confirmed cases, increasing the state’s total to 5,136.

As of Thursday 365 patients were hospitalized, with 130 of them in intensive care and 2,172 patients have recovered and no long need isolation.

Martin County reported 18 new cases, Total cases now 88. Faribault County held steady at 5

 

The Iowa Department of Health reported 14 new deaths from the Coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 162.

The deaths were reported in Muscatine, Polk, Linn, Marshall, Scott and Dubuque Counties.

The Department of Health also reports 302 new cases on Thursday, brining the state’s total to 7,145.

A total of 42,667 people have been tested and 2,697 patients have recovered and no long required isolation.

One additional case of COVID-19 was reported this week in Kossuth County, the total in Winnebago County remains at 2 and Floyd County reported its first case of the virus this week.
