WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 31 NEW CASES. TOTAL CON FIRMED 775. ACTIVE 60. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 4. TOTAL HOSPITALIZATIONS 41. 4 COVID RELATED DEATHS. 740 OUT OF ISOLATION.

Minnesota health officials reported on Monday 6,353 new cases of the coronavirus and 24 more deaths.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 3,265 people have died because of the virus.  A total of 2,223 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.

A total of 276,500 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began.  Of those, 227,311 people no longer need to self isolate.

The total number of Iowan hospitalized after testing positive for the coronavirus is down again, but the number of patients in the ICU and those on ventilators is up again as the state reports 1,661 more positive tests and 13 more deaths from COVID-19.

With 1,661 new cases reported, the total number of Iowans who have tested positive for the coronavirus now stands at 211,722.

There are currently 1,333 Iowans hospitalized with the coronavirus, a decrease from 7 patients from Sunday and nearly 200 fewer than the record level set last week.
