Community Health and Human Services of Martin and Faribault County has reported 4 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus.

The 4 new cases were reported in Faribault County, their ages are 18, 59, 76 and 79.  None of the new cases are currently hospitalized, but one prior reported case is hospitalized.  The County’s total number of confirmed cases is 194, with 27 active cases.

No new cases were reported in Martin County.  Three prior reported cases are hospitalized.  The total number of confirmed cases in Martin County is 557, with 32 active cases.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 553 CONFIRMED CASES. 4 ACTIVE. 545 RECOVERED.

Minnesota Health Officials reported on Thursday 1,169 new cases of the coronavirus and 19 more deaths.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, over 1.6 million people have been tested since the pandemic began and a total of 117,106 cases have been confirmed since March, with 104,547 of those cases no longer needing to be isolated.

The additional deaths bring the state’s death total to 2,199.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,546.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 13 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 1,410 new cases have been reported.

The number of new positive tests brings the total number of positive tests to 103,222.

The data shows there have been 1,505 deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 757 were residents of long term care facilities.

As of Thursday morning, there were 482 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state.  Of those patients, 107 are in intensive care with 49 of them on ventilators.

Of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19, 80,114 are considered recovered by the state.
