FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 120 CONFIRMED CASES. 5 ACTIVE. 115 RECOVERED.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 455 CONFIRMED CASES. 9 ACTIVE. 442 CASES OUT OF ISOLATION AND 4 COVID RELATED DEATHS.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Thursday 389 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is 82,249.

There have been 15 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,884.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,375.

As of 11am Thursday, there were 257 people hospitalized with the virus in Minnesota, with 138 in Intensive Care.

A total of 75,425 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

Twenty more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 819 new cases of the virus have been diagnosed according to the Iowa Department of Public Health’s website.

The number of positive cases is up to 71,956, the number of people who have recovered is 51,640.

So far 1,205 deaths from the virus have been reported in the state.  Of those deaths, 644 were residents of long term care facilities.  There are currently outbreaks at 30 long term care facilities in Iowa.

As of this morning, there were 302 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state.  Of those patients, 85 are in intensive care with 34 of them on ventilators.
