There will be a Special Fairmont City Council Meeting Tuesday,May 26, 2020, 5:30 p.m.
Due to the ongoing local emergency surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held via electronic means. Members of the public wishing to monitor the meeting may watch on Fairmont Local Access Channel 13. Agenda will be an Emergency Ordinance to facilitate business licensing, permitting and coordination with the City of Fairmont related to the State of Minnesota Peacetime State of Emergency and the City of Fairmont Declaration of Local Emergency (2020-19) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will deal with any business located in the business or industrial zone who may want to establish customer seating or service areas outdoors on its property to facilitate safe commercial activity conducted consistent with federal and state orders or guidelines.
