The American Red Cross is urging eligible donors to give blood to help maintain a blood supply as diverse as the patients who depend on lifesaving transfusions. While most blood types fall into one of the major ABO groups, for a portion of the population, finding someone with the same blood type can be as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack.

You can help by encouraging people of all races and ethnicities to give blood to maintain a diverse blood supply. Attached is information about upcoming Red Cross blood donation opportunities in the community.
