Three injured in crash near Truman

Three people were injured in a three-vehicle rear-end crash on Highway 15 near Truman on Monday. Two vehicles northbound on the highway, driven by 41 year-old Heather Lowe of Fairmont and 67 year-old Charles Eickhoff of Lewisville, were stopped for road construction when a vehicle driven by 27 year-old Maggie Breitbarth of Truman rear-ended Lowe’s vehicle. Breitbarth and two passengers in her vehicle, 3 year-old Hunter Breitbarth and 8 year-old Annika Sathoff, were transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. The other two drivers and a passenger in the Lowe vehicle suffered no apparent injury. Truman Fire & Ambulance and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
