Two Fairmont men are facing multiple felony charges in Martin County. Michael Allen Thompson, 60, and Thane Adam Thompson, 27, have been charged with multiple counts of possession of pornographic works involving a minor. Michael Thompson faces 10 counts and Thane Thompson faces 11. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. According to the complaint: In early 2019, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension received 27 Cybertips from Microsoft. The Cybertips specified that a user had accessed apparent child pornography.
