Six more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19. The deaths reported on Monday raised the state’s total to 1,304; 1,034 of the deaths occurred in long term care or assisted living facilities.
The Health Department also reported 220 new confirmed cases, increasing Minnesota’s total to 30,693.
As of Monday, 353 patients were hospitalized, with 186 of them in intensive care.
No changes in Martin ,Faribault or Watonwan counties from yesterday.
The Iowa Department of Health reported 2 new deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 653.
The Health Department also reported 142 new cases on Monday. The state’s total number of cases is 24,046.
A total of 227,413 people have been tested and 14,461 patients are recovering and no longer require isolation.
A total of 71 patients were listed in ICU’s across the state and 51 were on ventilators.
