Ages: 71

Two prior reported cases hospitalized. Ages: 64, 67

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 550 CONFIRMED CASES. ACTIVE CASES 5. OUT OF ISOLATION 545 COVID RELATED DEATHS 4.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Monday 1,178 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in the state is 113,439.

There have been 3 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 2,144.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,522.

A total of 101,376 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

More than 100,000 Iowans have now tested positive for COVID-19 according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.  They also reported 4 more deaths and 432 new cases on Monday.

The number of new positive tests brings the state’s total number of positive tests to 100,052.

Of the people who have tested positive the state considers 76,500 to be recovered.

A total of 1,464 deaths from the coronavirus have occurred in the state.  Of those deaths, 739 were residents of long term care facilities.

As of Monday morning, there were 449 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state.  Of those patients, 109 are in intensive care, with 39 on ventilators.

A total of 864,464 individuals have been tested statewide.
