After a search process that took 66 days to complete, the Blue Earth Area School District has a new Superintendent.
On a unanimous vote, the Board approved the hiring of Mandy Fletcher; Fletcher accepted the offer from the District.
The next step in the process will have the Board Chairman and the South Central Services Cooperative negotiate with Fletcher the terms of her contract.
The Board is expected to approve the contract at a meeting on April 1st.
Fletcher, who is currently Superintendent at the Granada-Huntley-East Chain School District, is scheduled to begin her new job at Blue Earth Area on July 1st, 2019.
